Creating a Cookery School
Stephen Graver is in no doubt when he is asked what the key specification was for the Lucknam Park Hotel cookery school project. It was quality, quality, quality, he confirms. Its been really exciting to be involved in such an innovative project from the bottom up, and to get to work with the team at Lucknam Park who care so much about quality, as we do, he adds.
His involvement with the cookery school first started around six months ago when a team from Lucknam Park visited his workshops at Steeple Ashton to discuss the idea of a kitchen project.Lucknam Park Hotel has a beautiful new hand-crafted kitchen... and it was made in Wiltshire!Creating a Cookery SchoolIts been great to work with the chefs at Lucknam Hywel Jones and Hrishikesh Desai on this project from the outset, working up the plans and drawings to their spec and seeing it come to fruition after a great deal of care and attention.
They were very specific about the standards and quality they wanted to see, and we have been pleased to match that expectation.
We manufactured 12 oak furniture stations, plus a chefs station, here in our workshops, as we do with every kitchen.Stephen, who has been running his workshops from Steeple Ashton for ten years, but laughs that he has been in the kitchen design business forever, says the Lucknam Park project was probably the most complicated he has ever undertaken.
We like to think we have come up with something truly unique, and it was very pleasing to see the job completed on time and getting fully road-tested at Lucknam Parks open evening when they had their first customers in, he added.
