NEW: British Birds of Prey Photography Day
Our new"British Birds of Prey" Photographic Days are designed to show indigenous species of raptor in their natural setting and will feature such species as Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Red Kite, Peregrine Falcon, Little Owl, Kestrel, or Golden Eagle.
Each day consists of three main components; firstly the opportunity to photograph on location in the Trusts stunning seven acre wildflower meadow which provides a perfect countryside setting for your shots; secondly, the birds can be posed by our falconers to capture incredible portrait images, and; finally, through the use of props and natural features within the meadow you can create wild life themed images of indigenous birds of prey. There will also be the opportunity to take some shots of flying birds during our 2.00pm Valley of the Eagles display where eagles, kites and vultures fill the sky.
Each day is limited to a maximum of 12 people (16 years and over), and will run from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Participants will be looked after by experienced members of staff, who will be on hand to set up shots of a variety of indigenous species.Lunch, tea and coffee are included in the cost. Lunch is taken on the balcony of our corporate room, where guests will have a bird's eye view of the Trust's 11.45am flying display (subject to corporate booking of the Griffon Rooms).
