Small Harbours of the Borders

Former Corsham resident Barbara Lewis opened the Corsham Art Book Shop in the late 1970s while studying painting at Bath Academy. She also made a living as a portrait painter working at the Holburne Museum, Bath, before moving to Northumberland in 1989. Now focusing on contemporary landscapes, this is a rare opportunity to see the work of this influential artist.

Go West are back with a new album, futurenow, and a brand new tour where the audience choose which songs they want to hear. Members of the audience will receive a list of songs to choose from, and can also make a dedication. Twelve requests will be performed together with the dedication. The Blank Album

Taking the concept of air guitar one step further, with dancers who sing on their heads and dance with cellos. The performance is set out as a music album and features separate tracks, creating pieces featuring short guitar sketches, solo performances and catchy tunes.

Swindon Music Festival

The object of the Swindon Music Festival is to advance the education of the public in

the Arts, and in particular in music in all its forms. The Festival provides a platform for amateur performance combined with an educational element from professional musicians. The Festival encourages entries from all ages and offers classes for the under-8s up to the mature voice (no upper age limit!). Also on offer is a wide range of classes including choirs, church choir, church organ, vocal, pianoforte, strings, woodwind, guitar,

brass, keyboard, ensembles and composition.

Spirit of Amesbury

Budding artist in Amesbury? Then take part in an exciting new project run by Amesbury Visual Artists and supported by SWAG for the Arts for Amesbury. Want to learn to paint, take a photograph, write poetry, make cards? Then here's your chance and it's all free! Fun workshops will be run by professional artists, with ten of the favourite works from each workshop becoming part of the 'Spirit of Amesbury' exhibition.
